Nominees should be: over 60 years old and one thousand Oaks/unincorporated area resident and volunteer for three of history 5 years.
Five nominees have already been selected to acknowledge for the 2020 Senior associated with awards year. Every year the town’s Council on Aging COA that is( honors senior volunteers with a prizes ceremony and social and acknowledges a Senior of the season. Significantly more than 1,200 adult that is senior add their time to significantly more than 80 non-profit agencies, schools and community companies within the Thousand Oaks area. The Conejo Recreation and Park District administers the Senior Nutrition Lunch Program at the Goebel Cafe based in Goebel Adult Community Center. For information call (805) 381-2746.
